With the increasing availability of quantitative data on multicellular systems and tissues, there is a growing need for computational modeling to gain mechanistic understanding of tissue behavior. Morpheus is a modeling environment for the simulation and integration of cell-based models with ordinary differential equations and reaction-diffusion systems. It enables rapid development of multi-scale models using a declarative modeling language instead of programming code. Moreover, its graphical user interface supports the entire workflow from model construction and simulation to visualization, archiving and batch processing.

Morpheus is available as binary packages for Mac, Linux and Windows at the project homepage and its source code is available at the git repository.
