This two-day conference is all about the state and future of research data management. FAIR data, data quality and research data management are experiencing a steady increase in importance. In the spirit of sharing and sustainability, this complex of topics will be considered and discussed from four perspectives:
In the context of this year’s NFDI4Ing conference, there will be a research software track whose guiding theme is testing research software. A mixture of workshops and short presentations will be offered on this topic, in particular technologies like Git, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
The Morpheus project, with the modelling and simulation environment itself as well as with the rich resources around it such as the citable model repository and extensive learning materials, is committed to sustainable software development and in particular to the FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship. In order to achieve this, we build extensively on the above-mentioned latest technologies.
With this in mind, we would like to connect with experts from the research software community and participate in the exchange of experiences on how state-of-the-art software technologies, development principles and infrastructure trends can be put to productive and sustainable use.
