LiSyM-Cancer is a multidisciplinary research network for systems medicine with the focus on liver cancer, its development from pre-existing conditions like non-alcoholic fatty liver or liver cirrhosis and an early diagnosis of liver cancer. Several advanced modeling frameworks including Morpheus are combined to study the spatio-temporal dynamics of liver tissue across all scales. Recent applications of Morpheus to hepatocyte apical/basal membrane polarization will be discussed at this modeling workshop.
